Converging at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane from the five districts of the Limpopo Province, Capricorn, Mopani, Sekhukhune, Waterberg and Vhembe, the team received their provincial attire and a fond farewell from the acting head of the provincial Department of Social Development Dr Martin Sehlapelo and the MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture Funani Jerry Maseko.

Team Limpopo is striving to bag the number one spot in the Golden Games on 19 and 20 February, as they have done before. The team is participating in all the sporting codes in the games section of the programme.

Tomorrow, 18 February, will see Limpopo’s golden oldies engage in dialogues with their counterparts from other provinces on topics that affect senior citizens directly.
