VIVIAN REDDY PLEDGES R100 MILLION TO SUPPORT SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT IN KWAZULU-NATAL

Business leader Mr Vivian Reddy, Chairman and Founder of the Isibaya Community Trust, has pledged R100 million over a four-year period to the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development (KZN DSD). The announcement was made during the Partnership Summit held at the Coastlands uMhlanga Hotel.
The pledge reflects the private sector’s strong commitment to supporting programmes that promote skills development, job creation, and inclusive economic growth across the province.
Held over two days under the theme “Investing in the Care Economy: Driving a Skills Revolution, Job Creation and Inclusive Growth through Strategic Partnerships,” the summit brought together key stakeholders from government, business, investor groups, Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), and civil society. The platform enabled robust engagement with practical, collaborative solutions to address pressing social and economic challenges facing communities in KwaZulu-Natal.
